Certificate in Wesleyan Theology

Welcome to the Certificate in Wesleyan Theology! In this certificate, we will take a look at biblical foundations of Wesleyan Theology, God’s relation to us, our role as the church, and our mission.  No matter where you come from or what vocation you are in, the Wesleyan Theology institute can be directly applied to your life.  You will walk away with a firm grasp on how what you have learned impacts you spiritually, relationally, emotionally, and vocationally.

Experiential learning is central to every certificate offered through Asbury Theological Seminary.  Each module is taught by academically and experientially qualified faculty and professionals who live out what they teach in their day to day lives. In this certificate, you will learn about:

• The Biblical Story
• Our Role in God’s Story
• What does it mean to follow Jesus
• What does it mean to follow Jesus together
• The Mission

The Certificate in Wesleyan Theology is a 10-month certificate offered in a hybrid format (combination of online and face-to-face interactions, including on-site retreats and small groups).  Upon successful completion, you will be granted a non-degree Certificate from Asbury Theological Seminary.
